Food Shed Co-op Groundbreaking

The official groundbreaking ceremony for Food Shed Co-op, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Woodstock.
The ceremony will include comments from Mike Turner, Mayor of the city of Woodstock, Clint Gabbard, President of McHenry County College, as well as Rusty Foszcz and Scott Brix, President and Vice President of the co-op's Board of Directors. Refreshments, informational tables and a merchandise sales tent will be set up for community members to visit before and after the official groundbreaking takes place.

Food Shed Co-op invites its owners, members of the public and the press for the launch of their community-owned grocery store. The July 18 event will be held in the open space of the neighboring business, Woodstock Sterile Solutions. Parking will be available in their lot at 2200 Lake Shore Dr. in Woodstock for attendees of the event.
