Singer-songwriter, composer, and pianist John Hegner returns to the Opera House stage for a heartfelt evening of music and storytelling in Peace Is Alive.
Known for his powerful songwriting, musical sensitivity, and collaborative spirit, Hegner has spent his life weaving melody and meaning together. His career has taken him from studies at Eastman and Berklee to two decades as a commercial composer in Boston and New York, and now to the quiet inspiration of his Starbell Hatchery Recording Studio in Harvard, IL.
