Theatre 121 Announces 2025–2026 Season — Tickets On Sale Now at the Woodstock Opera House
Woodstock, IL – Theatre 121 is thrilled to announce its upcoming 2025–2026 season, “Theatre 121 Goes to the Movies,” with tickets officially on sale now at the historic Woodstock Opera House. This exciting lineup celebrates the magic of film brought to life on stage, featuring beloved musicals, a thrilling jukebox rock show, and a heartwarming world premiere just in time for the holidays.
The season kicks off this fall and includes the following productions:
Beetlejuice JR.
October 3–5, 2025
A spooky-fun musical comedy perfect for the whole family, featuring student performers in a zany afterlife adventure based on the Tim Burton classic.
It’s A Wonderful Christmas Carol (World Premiere)**
November 14–30, 2025
This imaginative new holiday play, written by two local playwrights, blends the charm of It’s a Wonderful Life with the spirit of A Christmas Carol. A fresh, festive tradition in the making written by local playwrights Joel Bennett & Jeff Cook.
Singin’ in the Rain
February 20–March 1, 2026
One of the greatest movie musicals of all time comes to the stage, complete with iconic songs, dazzling choreography, and, yes—rain on stage!
Rock of Ages
June 19–28, 2026
Turn up the volume! This hit Broadway musical, fueled by your favorite '80s rock anthems, promises a summer of big hair, big dreams, and even bigger guitar solos.
