FRIENDS OF THE OLD COURTHOUSE COOKS UP SWEET HOLIDAY
TRADITION IN WOODSTOCK
Woodstock, IL December 3, 2024—The Woodstock Square comes alive at the holidays with traditions that draw visitors, families, and community members year after year. Friends of the Old Courthouse is proud to present the 8th Annual Gingerbread House Walk from 11/29-12/22 at the Old Courthouse Center on the Woodstock Square.
Our judges this year were the newest tenants of the Old Courthouse Center; (pictured left to right) William, Sophia, and Bill Linardos of the Squire on the Square restaurant. They awarded five prizes.
- Most Beautiful: “It’s a Beaut’ Clark” by Allison Steiger
- Most Creative: “Two Turtle Doves and a Groundhog Under a Tree” by The Danille Tegtman
- Most Delicious: “Christmas Markets on the Rhine River” by Cary Travel Express
- Funniest: “The Gingerzilla” by Kiera Merrell and Reagan Zuwisza
- Best in Show: “The Kringle Market” by Susan Roderick Seibel
The Houses will be available for viewing, at no charge, through December 22, during open hours for the Old Courthouse Center.
