The new site at 1191 Lake Avenue offers expanded space and logistical flexibility to accommodate the company’s evolving needs and future growth. With this move, Action Packaging will initially bring 40 jobs to the community and continue building on its strong reputation for service, innovation, and supply chain reliability.
“Our team is extremely happy to have found our forever-home in Woodstock. We are excited to grow alongside Woodstock and be an active member in the community.” Said Haley Cwynar, Action Packaging’s CEO.
Action Packaging’s decision to locate to Woodstock reflects both the City’s manufacturing heritage and the strength of the McHenry County business environment. The company will receive support from the City of Woodstock through its Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District and worked closely with the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation during site selection and planning.
“The City of Woodstock is proud to welcome Action Packaging as a valued addition to our business community,” said Woodstock Mayor, Mike Turner. “I am pleased they have chosen Woodstock for consolidated operations and that the company will repurpose an existing facility within the City. I extend my gratitude to the City’s Economic Development team and the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation for their important role in this effort. Woodstock remains committed to being the premier destination for businesses, residents, and visitors.”
“Action Packaging’s investment in Woodstock showcases the strength of our regional manufacturing sector,” said Mark Piekos, Executive Director of the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation. “Their decision affirms the talent, connectivity, and business-friendly environment that McHenry County offers. MCEDC was pleased to work alongside the City of Woodstock to bring both new jobs and fresh momentum to this facility.”
