Woodstock Opera House Announces Award-Winning 2025-2026 Season
 
Woodstock, IL – August 21, 2025 – The Woodstock Opera House is raising the curtain on its 2025–2026 season, and it promises to be nothing short of spectacular. This year’s lineup celebrates the very best in live performance, film, and cultural events, spotlighting artists and productions connected to the world’s most prestigious honors—Oscars, Tonys, Grammys, Emmys, Pulitzers, Olympic Gold Medals, and more!

The season begins on Saturday, September 6 with the return of Socks in the Frying Pan, an award-winning Irish trio blending traditional sounds with contemporary flair. Just two weeks later, on Friday, September 19, viral musical comedian Kristin Key (NBC’s Bring the Funny, Last Comic Standing) takes the stage with her 2025 national tour Camp Kristin: S’more Lesbians S’more Tour.

On Saturday, October 11, legendary Chicago rockers The Ides of March featuring Grammy-Award winner Jim Peterik bring their signature brass-driven sound to Woodstock, delivering a high-energy evening of classic hits and fan favorites.

From there, the Opera House calendar is packed with high-profile highlights, including:

  • Music & Global Acts – Grammy-inspired tributes to Bruce Springsteen, Neil Diamond, and more, alongside critically acclaimed ensembles such as Axiom Brass.
  • Comedy & Pop Culture – Emmy legacy takes center stage with The Best of The Second City, plus a live evening with Bravo stars Delores Catania and Sonja Morgan.
  • Film Series – Academy Award-winning classics including CasablancaTo Kill a MockingbirdRaiders of the Lost ArkThe King’s Speech, and On Golden Pond return to the big screen. Plus, a documentary series celebrating arts greatest visionaries and their masterpieces celebrates St. Paul Basilicas, Picasso, and Frida Kahlo in The Great Art. 
  • Special Events –Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Maraniss and bestselling novelist Shelby Van Pelt headline literary spotlights.
